Classes, Cost, and General Schedule

In all of my classes, students learn to understand and read music; music fundamentals; theory (the writing part of music); proper technique; sight reading; ear training; improvisation; and composition. We also participate in several local competitions and events throughout the year.

Group Classes

I am so excited to offer group lessons! This year was the launch, and it has been a blast. Students who are in group classes have really bonded with each other, and they love playing music learning games and performing pieces together.  All new beginner and elementary students will be placed in group classes. My group classes are unique, because they can be multi-level. Beginners can learn with elementary and late elementary students. All music and theory is level-appropriate. This is perfect for families who want to enroll two or more students. And it's more affordable than private lessons! Group Classes meet weekly for 45 minutes. Max class = 4 students.

Tuition for group classes is $80/student/month + music/theory and supplies (approx. $40/student each year). Tuition is always due the week before the upcoming month.

Private Lessons

Intermediate level students can choose to take private lessons. Lessons are 45 minutes, weekly.

Tuition for private lessons is $130/month + music/theory and supplies (approx. $40/student each year). Tuition is always due the week before the upcoming month.

30 Minute private lessons are available for adults. Cost is $95 per month, lessons are weekly.

General Schedule

Our studio calendar runs from the first week of September through the end of May, with our final recital usually the first weekend in June.

I also like for the students to share their music talent with others.  In early December we visit a nursing home or two to play some Christmas music for residents (Covid-permitting).  We often visit again before our June recital to share what we've been working on for the recital!

Throughout the year students may attend one or more competition/events put on by the Omaha Music Teacher's Association, i.e., Trophy Festival and FUN(damentals) Fair.
